Meet the Teacher
Hi! My name is Ms. Bright and I am so excited to be part of the Milton Elementary team! More importantly, I am THRILLED to be your teacher! It’s going to be a fun year full of lots of learning and new adventures and I can’t wait to see what the year has in store for us. I want to know ALL about you, but first I’m going to tell you a few things about me.
I was born and raised in Millsboro, Delaware. I have two daughters, one son and a beautiful granddaughter. I graduated from Sussex Central High School, and then attended Delaware State University where I earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Elementary Education. I later earned a Master’s Degree in Curriculum and Instruction from Coppin State.
I began my teaching career at Tappahannock Elementary School in 1998 and taught there for four years before moving back to Delaware. I began teaching in the Cape Henlopen School District in 2002. I joined the faculty of Milton Elementary in 2003 and have always taught fourth grade.
I am excited to be your teacher and for you to be part of this AWESOME, all-star class. This is going to be a fantastic year!
